Personal Injury/Mass Tort Attorney

Location: Hybrid remote with Law Office in downtown Indianapolis, IN
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Cohen & Malad, LLP, an Indianapolis-based law firm of 25+ lawyers, is seeking to add an ambitious attorney with personal injury and/or mass tort or complex litigation experience to its well-established and expanding team. Our diverse litigation practice functions in a highly collaborative manner and is extremely dedicated to helping clients get the service and results they deserve. Responsibilities of this position include factual investigations, legal research, extensive motion practice, conducting discovery, conducting depositions, and participating in hearings in Indiana and other jurisdictions, including “first-chairing” those responsibilities based on level of ability.
Some attributes of the ideal candidate include:
- Preferred 2-5 years of personal injury, mass tort, or complex litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, rules of evidence and court rules
- Proven litigation experience, ideally with a track record of successful case outcomes
- Exceptional analytical and research skills with the ability to assess and manage complex legal issues and develop effective legal strategies
- Experience conducting depositions
- Trial experience is preferred but not required
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ability to develop and apply case strategy and tactics to achieve positive results for clients
- Strong desire and commitment to win for clients
