Like many of our attorneys, Brian Zoeller is active in his community. Brian has a passion for football and began his coaching career when his sons were growing up. He started coaching in the Youth Football League in Franklin Township back in 2001. As his boys grew up he eventually began coaching junior high school boys football at Lutheran Middle School.
Brian enjoys not only the strategic thinking that a good coach needs but specifically enjoys being able to have a lasting impact on the boys he coaches. As coach, Brian helps teach his players valuable lessons about teamwork, leadership, and good sportsmanship. All lessons that will help them in every facet of their lives.
A great example of good sportsmanship was recently highlighted on the local news. Lutheran Middle School was playing Beech Grove Middle School during a game in August when a player on the opposing team was injured during a play. Instead of forging ahead, the Lutheran team all took a knee and stopped play. As soon as that happened, the Lutheran team all took a knee and prayed for the injured player. Brian spoke to the media about the importance of sportsmanship and how impressed he was with his team.
