Tara Lynne Cragen is an attorney with CohenMalad, LLP, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ms. Cragen concentrates her practice on criminal defense and family law. She represents clients in Indianapolis and the surrounding counties of Johnson, Morgan, Hendricks, Hancock, Bartholomew, and Brown.

As a family law attorney, Ms. Cragen has experience with matters involving divorce, adoption, child custody, child support, guardianships, parenting time, paternity, prenuptial agreements and relocation. In her criminal defense practice, she handles misdemeanors and felony charges such as domestic violence, drug offenses and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Ms. Cragen also has extensive experience regarding expungements of criminal matters and protective orders.

Ms. Cragen graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree before going on to earn her law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. While pursuing her law degree, she sat on the board of the law school’s Family Law Society and served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate on a volunteer basis.

Ms. Cragen passed the Indiana bar exam prior to finishing law school and received her license to practice law before all Indiana state courts three days after law school graduation. She is also qualified to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
