Wintrust Financial Corporation Faces Lawsuit Over Improper Overdraft Fees
CohenMalad, LLP attorneys filed a lawsuit on behalf of a Town Bank customer against Wintrust Financial Corporation, which alleges that Wintrust improperly charges overdraft fees to checking accounts that were never actually overdrawn. The lawsuit seeks to reimburse these customers the overdraft fees that were improperly charged and to stop the bank from charging these fees to its customers.
