Cohen & Malad, LLP attorneys are investigating claims of sexual abuse against Rod Gardin the former superintendent of Tri-Creek School Corporation in Lowell, Indiana. The family of a former student alleges that Gardin sexually assaulted a grade school student.
In January of 2021, Gardin was placed on temporary leave amid allegations of grooming behavior after an anonymous letter was sent to the school corporation. The letter claimed Gardin engaged in various activities that are often employed by sexual predators including offering rides in his personal vehicle to middle school and high school boys, trading texts with students, buying meals or treats, and giving male students “longer than comfortable” back and shoulder rubs. Rod Gardin resigned from his position as Tri-Creek School superintendent March 31, 2021.
