Pradaxa, an anti-clotting drug manufactured by Boehringer Ingelheim, has been linked to at least 50 deaths. A recent article from Reuters states that health regulators have a heightened concern for drug overdoses due to a patient’s limited ability to filter the active ingredient in Pradaxa though the kidneys.
