Ohio Teacher Charged with Sexually Abusing 28 First-Grade Girls
Physical Education teacher Austin Hopkins has been charged with sexually abusing 28 first-grade girls and touching 88 total over a three-month period at Clearcreek Elementary and Springboro Intermediate schools in Ohio. Investigators have obtained video from the Springboro Community Schools system that shows Hopkins touching 88 girls between December 2018 and March 2019. The school district suspended Hopkins upon learning of the allegations and he has since resigned.
