Host Shaunestte Terrell talks with Tracey Horth Krueger Chief Executive Officer of the Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking about the issue of victim blaming in cases involving sexual assault. Tracey Horth Krueger is a dedicated advocate for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. In addition to her role at ICESAHT, Mrs. Horth Krueger is the principal in thkconsultants a consulting firm serving central Indiana non-profit organizations. Previously, Mrs. Horth Krueger helped form and served as the Executive Director of the Domestic Violence Network (DVN) after facilitating its successful merger with Safe Haven Foundation. She also facilitated the creation and implementation of Phases I and II of the Family Violence Community-Wide Plan for Indianapolis, formalized the DVN membership of social service advocates, developed and implemented Employers Against Domestic Violence, and partnered with WTHR to develop and implement the “Shattering the Silence” public awareness campaign. Before her work in the non-profit arena, Mrs. Horth Krueger was a reporter/anchor at WRTV-6. While there, she worked in partnership with the Mayor’s Commission on Family Violence to develop the Safe Haven public awareness campaign, which resulted in the opening of Coburn Place Safe Haven, a transitional housing program for intimate partner violence survivors.
