Cohen & Malad, LLP is pleased to announce that Melissa Stuart was selected as a finalist in the law category for the 2012 Indy’s Best and Brightest Award given by Junior Achievement. She was recognized for her professional accomplishments, civic contributions, and leadership within the Indianapolis community.
Each year, the Indy’s Best and Brightest Awards honor 100 of Central Indiana’s outstanding young professionals, age 40 and under, who are making their mark in and around Indianapolis. This event was created by Junior Achievement to recognize the up and coming talent and the next generation of leaders in our community.
Melissa’s practice includes work with class action lawsuits as well as drug and medical device litigation. In addition to her law degree, Melissa also holds a master of science degree in clinical psychology and worked for several years at Riley Children’s Hospital in the Christian Sarkine Autism Treatment Center as a research specialist. Melissa is a regular contributor to the Friendship Circle blog where she writes about legal issues that impact individuals with disabilities.
