Jonathan Knoll and Ned Mulligan Appointed to Leadership in Exactech Litigation
The Eighth Judicial Circuit Court of Alachua County, Florida has appointed CohenMalad, LLP attorneys Jonathan A. Knoll and Edward (Ned) B. Mulligan V to the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in coordinated litigation against Exactech, Inc. These are product liability lawsuits involving defective Exactech Connexion GXL acetabular polyethylene hip implant liners, Exactech total knee replacement (TKR), and Exactech total ankle (TAR) devices.
As members of the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee, Knoll and Mulligan will be responsible for coordinating pretrial proceedings and discovery on behalf of all plaintiffs represented in the litigation. This is not the first time Mulligan and Knoll have served in litigation leadership positions. They currently serve in court-appointed leadership positions in coordinated federal litigation and multi-county litigation (MCL) pending in New Jersey regarding Strattice hernia mesh injury claims. Mulligan is also currently a court-appointed member of the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee and co-chair of the discovery committee in the Gilead Tenofovir Cases, consolidated in San Francisco Superior Court.
