Cohen & Malad, LLP is pleased to announce attorney Ashley N. Hadler has been named partner. Ashley focuses her practice on personal injury litigation providing a voice to survivors of sexual abuse and victims of nursing home negligence who have suffered either physical or sexual abuse. She also fights for patients who have suffered from medical malpractice and families who have lost a loved one due to the negligence of others.
Ashley began her legal career in Chicago holding nursing homes and hospital corporations accountable for abuse and neglect due to their deficient practices or their employees’ negligence. Since returning to Indianapolis and joining Cohen & Malad, LLP she has expanded the focus of her practice to include sexual abuse and assault litigation helping vulnerable individuals ranging in age from children to the elderly.
Ashley has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star each year since 2015 and was also recognized as a Super Lawyers Emerging Lawyer. She is an active member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. She is a volunteer guardian for the Center for At Risk Elders (CARE) in Indianapolis and an active member of the National Crime Victims Bar Association. Ashley frequently speaks to groups of lawyers and survivor advocacy groups about her work seeking civil justice for victims of abuse and neglect.
