The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating reports of sexual abuse at Hope Center in Indianapolis according to media reports. At least two women claim they were sexually assaulted while clients at Hope Center between 2017 and 2019. Hope Center is a faith-based residential program for human trafficking survivors. At least one of the women named Hubert Nolan, the center’s co-founder and executive director as a perpetrator of sexual assault. The Hope Center offers 3 residential programs focused on the recovery of women exiting human trafficking, addictions, and other life-dominating issues as well as 30 different faith-based programs.
