Johnson & Johnson Appeal Denied in Baby Powder Ovarian Cancer Lawsuit
The Missouri Court of Appeals upheld a verdict in favor of women who claimed Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Powder and talcum powder-containing products caused their ovarian cancer. This decision is the latest in a series of lawsuits filed against Johnson & Johnson over these products. More than 19,000 women have accused the manufacturer of failing to warn about the potential risks that its talcum powder products were contaminated with asbestos – a known carcinogen.
