COHEN & MALAD, LLP FILES CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST DIRECTBUY - IRWIN LEVIN QUOTED IN REPORT BY WRTV-6 ON LAWSUIT

Managing Partner, Irwin Levin, was interviewed by WRTV-6 Call 6 For Help Investigative Reporter Rafael Sanchez on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, concerning the Class Action lawsuit filed by Cohen & Malad, LLP against Indiana based Wholesale Club DirectBuy.

The suit alleges that the company pressures people to pay a $5,000 membership fee and then charges members mark ups on products and excessive shipping fees, while hiding millions in annual rebates from manufactureres.

Levin said, "When you enter into the agreement you are not going to necessarily get better prices. You will pay fees that you won't other than theough this device,"... "The advertising by DirectBuy entices you that you are in a position of the person who is a wholesaler and you are not."
