Eric Pavalack Interviewed Concerning Cohen & Malad, LLP's Filing of a Class Action Lawsuit Against Toyota

Cohen & Malad, LLP Partner Eric Pavlack was interviewed by Indianapolis televison stations Wish TV-8 and WRTV-6 on Thursday, February 4, 2010, and The Indianapolis Star regarding the Firm's filing of a Class Action lawsuit against Toyota. The class action lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court in Indianapolis on behalf of Hamilton County resident, Judith M. Enderle.

The lawsuit asks for unspecified damages related to the recall of various Toyota models with malfunctioning gas pedals.

Pavlik stated that, "Enderle's car has not made any sudden surges because of the gas pedal problem,"... " "but Toyota was aware of an issue with sudden acceleration for at least 3 years and was slow to correct it."

Similar lawsuits have been filed in other jurisdictions but this lawsuit is the first effort in Indiana to estatblish a class action among owners of the recalled Toyota vehicles.
